Ohio State made the decision to suspend Urban Meyer for three games for the 2018 season following an investigation into his knowledge of an alleged domestic violence arrest involving a former assistant coach.

As you might imagine — especially considering the details mentioned in Ohio State’s report — has been met with plenty of criticism and backlash. And a former star receiver at Michigan was one to quickly bash Ohio State and the punishment it handed Meyer.

Braylon Edwards took to Twitter on Thursday morning to express his feelings on Meyer’s three-game suspension, a decision he referred to as “laughable.”

“Ohio State and Urban Meyer just nonchalantly handled a domestic violence case in the wake of the ‘Me Too’ era,” Edwards wrote. “I’d rather them say they decided not to take any action against him vs this laughable three gam suspension and half ass apology to appease the masses.”

Edwards ended the statement with the hashtag “accountability.”

But Edwards wasn’t done scorching Ohio State with that one message. The former Michigan standout responded to plenty of messages he received in response to his tweet.

“When you take a job as head coach, everything that happens on your watch is your responsibility, especially the things that you ‘consistently’ hear about,” Edwards said in response to one tweet. “You don(‘t) want the responsibility Don’t take the damn job.”

Edwards also gave a shoutout to Michigan in response to one fan’s comment.

Edwards was a star at Michigan from 2001 through 2004, racking up over 3,500 receiving yards and 39 touchdowns in four seasons with the Wolverines.

As you can tell, he’s still not a huge fan of Ohio State.
