With a successful extra point, DeJean’s pick-6 made it 17-0 Eagles in the 2nd quarter. If Philadelphia goes on to win, it will undoubtedly be the highlight of DeJean’s rookie season.
DeJean finished his Iowa career on a high note. In 2023, he made it back-to-back first-team All-Big Ten selections, also picking up B1G Return Specialist of the Year and B1G Defensive Back of the Year as he was named a Unanimous All-American.
Philadelphia selected DeJean with the No. 40 overall pick in the 2nd round of the 2024 NFL Draft. DeJean was named to the PFWA’s All-Rookie Team, recording 51 total tackles with 6 passes defended, 1 forced fumble and 3 fumble recoveries in the regular season.
DeJean entered the Super Bowl having played in 3 playoff games during his first posteason. He logged 15 total tackles with 9 solo stops and 3 passes defended in Philadelphia’s NFC Championship campaign.
The game is airing on FOX.
