Michigan QB Shea Patterson seems to be everywhere you look.

Preseason magazines, news outlets, national radio hosts, you name it. People are talking about Patterson and what him and Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh can do in 2018 to opposing teams.

After all, Patterson was the No. 4 overall prospect and No. 1 QB in the Class of 2015 when he came out of high school and committed to Ole Miss according to 247Sports. Expectations are high, and rightfully so.

On Monday, during Harbaugh’s press conference, he talked a bit about his new signal caller and how he has looked to this point:

If Patterson is doing all that he can do to be focused and sharp, that’s all that you can ask for.

Well, that and being dominant on Saturdays. Patterson will have his shot to show the country what he can do right off the bat.

Michigan opens up its 2018 season with a signature matchup against Notre Dame on Saturday. According to the AP Preseason Poll, the Wolverines enter as the No. 14 team in the country, while the Fighting Irish are No. 12.

The game is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. on the road at Notre Dame. The top 15 matchup will be televised on NBC.
