Joe Lunardi is the face of college basketball when it comes to bracketology and picking what he thinks the NCAA Tournament selection committee will do on Selection Sunday. With the announcement of the brackets less than 24 hours away, Lunardi posted an updated projection of what teams he thinks will be No. 1 seeds, as well as the last team that will make the tournament.

The SEC is well represented in the bracket, as Lunardi has 2 teams from the conference as No. 1 seeds. Despite their loss to Tennessee, Lunardi still has Auburn as the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament. Joining Auburn on the 1-line are Duke, Houston and Florida.

While the 1-seeds are obviously an important part of the bracket, there are many fans wondering if their team will even make it into March Madness. The bubble received a shakeup as a potential bid was stolen on Saturday night, as the Colorado State Rams knocked off Boise State in the Mountain West Conference Championship.

The win by Colorado State knocked Boise State out of the field entirely and elevated Indiana — for now — into the “Last Team In” spot. Vanderbilt, San Diego State and Xavier are the other teams to round out Lunardi’s “Last Four In” section with Selection Sunday approaching while North Carolina, Texas and Ohio State join Boise State in the “First Four Out” section.

Lunardi is very good at his predictions, but generally every year there have been 1 or 2 teams that Lunardi doesn’t have in that makes the tournament. The brackets will come out on Sunday at 6 p.m. ET, with the bracket being released on CBS.
