Ohio State will visit the White House next month to celebrate its National Championship victory, according to a report.

CBS News was first to break that news on Friday afternoon. Per the report, the Buckeyes will take their trip to the White House on April 14. As per tradition, Ohio State will also meet with President Donald Trump as part of the White House visit.

The trip will come soon after Ohio State wraps up its spring practice period. The Buckeyes are set to hold their spring game on April 12 in Columbus.

Ohio State captured its first national title since 2014 this past January. The Buckeyes defeated Notre Dame in the National Championship game 34-23 to secure the win and their 9th claimed national title.

This year’s National Championship Game took place on the day Trump was inaugurated into office. Vice President JD Vance is an Ohio State alum as well. Vance was also born in Ohio and was an Ohio senator before joining the ticket as Trump’s VP.

Ohio State will not be the first championship team to visit the White House since Trump’s inauguration. The Florida Panthers, who won last year’s Stanley Cup, visited the White House last month.

Ohio State previously visited the White House after it won the the 2014 national title.
