Ohio State hit the field inside Ohio Stadium for its annual spring game on Saturday, and the event included a mid-game celebration for the Buckeyes. It included players and coaches receiving their national title rings during a break in the action with Emeka Egbuka, Jack Sawyer and Will Howard among the outgoing players back to celebrate.

However, head coach Ryan Day received a bit of a sneak peek beforehand. During the spring game, Ohio State revealed a video behind the scenes of Day receiving and investigating the 3-part rings for the first time.

The joy and jubilation on Day’s face are readily apparent as he dives into the full details, but he was especially blown away by the national championship rings.

“Wow, look at this. I mean, look at how big this thing is,” exclaimed Day. “Holy smokes! Man oh man.”

Altogether, there are 3 rings celebrating the Rose Bowl, Cotton Bowl and national championship victories. The colors of the bowl ring are especially vibrant, but the masterpiece is indeed the top prize, and Day’s reaction tells it all.

“This national championship ring, my goodness! You could eat off of this,” said Day. “There’s multiple compartments in this, I love this.”

Now that Day has gotten a taste of his first national championship, the task immediately becomes trying to chase his 2nd. The early national title odds at DraftKings for the 2025 season have that as a feasible goal with Ohio State leading the pack at +500 to repeat.

Among the top contenders, Texas (+550), Georgia (+600), Oregon (+750) and Penn State (+800) round out the top 5. Fans can take advantage of the available DraftKings Ohio promo code to get started today.
