Ohio State wide receivers coach Brian Hartline has made a habit out of stockpiling ultra-elite receivers for the Buckeyes. Now promoted to offensive coordinator for Ryan Day, Hartline’s work on the recruiting trail remains legendary.

On Sunday, that included Ohio State landing another top-tier WR recruit in the 2026 recruiting class. In fact, this time it comes from a commitment from a teammate of Chris Henry Jr., a 5-star wideout and one of the top overall players in the cycle.

Sunday’s commitment comes from Kayden Dixon-Wyatt, a 6-foot-2 and 180-pound prospect out of Mater Dei High School in California. Dixon-Wyatt eventually committed to the Buckeyes over Oregon, Alabama, USC and Texas.

According to the 247 Sports Composite, Dixon-Wyatt is a 4-star recruit and the 15th overall wide receiver in the country. He checks in just outside of the top 100 players for the 2026 recruiting class with a 107th overall ranking.

Dixon-Wyatt becomes the 12th hard commitment for Ohio State in the cycle, and he’s the 4th wide receiver in the group. Every WR commit in that group has at least a 4-star rating, while Henry is a 5-star prospect and headlines the class of the Buckeyes as the No. 11 player in the country.

We’ll see how Ohio State pushes to round out that group moving forward.
