USC added to its offseason transfer haul on Sunday afternoon with a commitment from point guard Jordan Marsh.

Marsh comes to Los Angeles all the way from the Big South Conference, where he starred for UNC Asheville. He announced his plans on his social media account with a simple headline on the post that read: “Let’s do it!!!”

Here is Marsh’s post announcing the new phase of his college basketball career in the Big Ten:

Marsh not only is from the faraway Big South, but he’s a Charlotte native, so he’s heading to uncharted territory all the way out at USC. Marsh was named the Big South Newcomer of the Year last season while averaging 18.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.0 steals per game. He also shot 44.8% from the field and 30.5% from 3-point territory.

Trojans head coach Eric Musselman is loading up on transfers going into his 2nd season at USC, and Marsh is just the latest addition to a transfer class that includes former Auburn star Chad Baker-Mazara. Marsh will be a junior next season and has 2 years of eligibility remaining.

The 5-foot-10, 165-pound Marsh had his breakout season last year in the Big South after beginning his college career at Appalachian State. His addition to Musselman’s roster gives USC 5 guards for next season.
