FOX announced Monday that it will carry 2 of the most anticipated Ohio State games of the 2025 college football season.
Week 1’s rematch of Ohio State vs. Texas and The Game in Week 14 will both air on FOX, the network announced. Kickoff times were not announced, but both are expected to be featured in FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff showcase slot at noon ET.

Ohio State ended Texas’s 2024 campaign for the national championship. The Buckeyes defeated former QB Quinn Ewers and the Longhorns 28-14 in the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 10. OSU went on to beat Notre Dame 34-23 in the CFP National Championship Game to win the national title.
The Week 1 matchup will have a different feel as both Ewers and Ohio State QB Will Howard are currently in the NFL. Even with new starting quarterbacks, both Ohio State and Texas are expected to be highly ranked in the 2025 preseason polls.
The Aug. 30 meeting in Columbus is being suggested for Lee Corso’s final appearance on College GameDay. Corso has chosen Ohio State’s Brutus more than any other mascot in his headgear picks.
It comes as no surprise that The Game is once again on FOX. Every Michigan-Ohio State game has aired on FOX since 2017. Every meeting since 2007 has featured a noon kickoff.
As the last 2 schools to win the College Football Playoff, there’s plenty of anticipation for the 2025 meeting in Ann Arbor. The Wolverines have won the last 4 meetings in the rivalry.
