Nebraska is making waves in the class of 2026.

The Huskers made 2 huge additions on Monday afternoon. First, Nebraska landed a commitment from 4-star cornerback Danny Odem. Then, a few hours later, 3-star running back Jamal Rule joined the fold.

These are both huge additions for the Huskers. Odem in-particular is a big recruiting win for Matt Rhule and company. He’s the No. 253 overall player and the No. 22 cornerback in the country for this cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Odem had offers from Ohio State and Clemson, amongst other top programs, but will instead be taking his talents to Lincoln. He’s now the top-ranked player in Nebraska’s 2026 class and the only Composite 4-star who is currently committed to the Huskers.

Rule is a solid running back pickup for the Huskers. He’s the No. 48 running back in the country for the class of 2026, per the same service. The North Carolina native was also being recruited by Michigan State, NC State and others.

Nebraska is now up to 8 commits in the class of 2026 as this cycle heats up. The Huskers currently sit outside of the top-50 in the national rankings, but there’s still a long way to go before signing day.
