Ohio State picked up a new commitment for its 2026 recruiting class on Wednesday evening.

Aaron Thomas is the newest Buckeye pledge. The offensive lineman from Arizona announced his commitment to Ohio State on social media via posts and a ceremony streamed live on Instagram.

During the livestream, Thomas notably trolled Washington with the hats on the table.

A native of Phoenix, Arizona out of Mountain Pointe High School, Thomas is listed as measuring 6-7 and 300 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Thomas is rated 3-stars, the No. 5 player in the state of Arizona, No. 36 offensive tackle and No. 439 prospect overall in the Class of 2026.

Thomas was a highly sought-after recruit. He picked up 29 scholarship offers during his recruitment. He took visits to Ohio State, Washington, Florida State and Texas A&M before making his verbal pledge to the Buckeyes.

With Thomas on board, Ryan Day’s staff now has 17 players committed in OSU’s 2026 recruiting class, which ranks No. 5 nationally on the Composite. Fans can check out Thomas’ highlights in the video below:
