Immanuel Iheanacho has found a home in Eugene.
The elite offensive lineman, rated a top-10 overall prospect in the Class of 2026, made his commitment on Thursday. Oregon is the big winner of Iheanacho’s recruitment.
Out of North Bethesda (Maryland) Georgetown Preparatory School, Iheanacho currently measures a massive 6-7 and 365 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Iheanacho is rated the No. 1 interior offensive lineman, No. 2 player in the state of Maryland and No. 8 prospect overall in the 2026 recruiting class.
As expected with his rating, Iheanacho was offered by many of the top programs in the country. Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Miami, Michigan State, North Carolina, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M and USC were among the programs to show interest.
For the big decision, Iheanacho narrowed it down to Oregon, LSU, Auburn and Penn State. He announced his commitment to the Ducks live on The Pat McAfee Show. Iheanacho told McAfee that Eugene felt like home when he visited campus, and he was attracted to the early playing opportunity offered at UO.
