Oregon is not just one of the top football programs in the country under head coach Dan Lanning. The program is still one of the premier teams in the country when it comes to cranking out new and engaging uniform ideas.

That trend of unique and splashy threads is nothing new at Oregon, and that’s not to say every idea has been a smashing success. However, every sport needs someone willing to push the envelope, and that mindset has allowed the Ducks to craft some true winners when it comes to gameday threads.

Recently, ESPN compiled a fun and thought-provoking list of some of the best alternate uniforms in college football. If you thought Oregon may have too many uniforms to pick from for a list like that, you would be correct.

Because the Ducks have simply too many uniforms to try and find just one to include, ESPN gave the program the Lifetime Achievement Award. Here’s what ESPN said about the Ducks’ uniform game:

Undoubtedly the most prolific uniform-producing school, the Ducks put out more uniform combinations in a season than some programs do in a decade. Instead of trying to choose which categories to slot them into — since they’ve produced enough memorable combinations to be involved in just about every option, really — we’re simply giving the Ducks a lifetime achievement award, showcasing a short palette of their range here.

So, which uniform from Oregon’s long-running tradition of unique threads is your favorite? Even a top-5 list could be hard to come up with, but their “stomp out cancer” series is always one of the best and should be another hit this fall.
