CBS Sports analysts reveal picks to win Big Ten in 2025

Penn State and Ohio State are the 2 highest-ranked Big Ten teams entering the 2025 season at Nos. 2 and 3 in the preseason AP Top 25. Unsurprisingly, the Nittany Lions and Buckeyes are popular picks to win the Big Ten this season.

A group of CBS Sports were split 2-2 on OSU and PSU winning the B1G.

Aaron Taylor predicts a signature win for James Franklin.

“This will be a rematch,” Taylor said of the B1G title game. “I predict the Nittany Lions win in forever erasing the Big Game James moniker from the Nittany Lions.

Rick Neuheisel also expects a rematch. He likes Ohio State taking Round 1 at home, but Penn State winning Round 2.

“I think Penn State loses in Columbus, but gets a rematch and gets it done,” the former coach said. “Big Game James no more.”

Brian Jones strayed from the Ohio State-Penn State matchup.

“Ohio State and Oregon,” Jones said for the title game. “Ohio State repeats as – no, they ain’t going to repeat as the national champion, but they’re going to win the Big Ten.”

We’ll see how these picks hold up come December.
