LOOK: Maryland honors OL Jordan McNair on first play of the game

The Terrapins are kicking off the 2018 season against the Texas Longhorns, and the team decided to honor Jordan McNair in a special way.
McNair passed away earlier this year after collapsing during team workouts. It was a heavy blow to the team that resulted in two investigations surrounding the football program. Those investigations are still ongoing.
Maryland will hope to begin the season with a win against a quality opponent, but the Terrapins are also making sure to honor the late McNair. On the first play of the game, the Terrapins lined up with 10 men on the field and just four OL to honor their fallen teammate.
It was an incredible gesture, and the Longhorns respectively declined to accept the delay of game penalty against the Terps. Maryland Football shared the tribute on Twitter:

Maryland is also honoring McNair with a helmet sticker.
