Maryland football is off and running to start 2018.
In particular, freshman WR Jeshaun Jones is the one off and running. The Terrapins are playing Texas to start the season after defeating the Longhorns on the road last year 51-41.
Jones’ first collegiate touch actually came on a running play and he scored his first time on that one. Then, in his second ever time touching the ball in college football, he scored once again.
All within the first 7 minutes of his career at Maryland:

The 6-foot, 160-pound receiver from Fort Myers, Fla. was deemed as a 3-star recruit coming out of high school by 247Sports, but of course, rankings aren’t everything.
