WATCH: Jim Harbaugh addresses criticism, high expectations in interview with Marty Smith

Expectations remain sky high for Michigan as the team seeks its first B1G Championship under Jim Harbaugh.
The Wolverines have not quite lived up to the hype under Harbaugh, but that could change with the arrival of QB Shea Patterson. Many analysts see Patterson as a difference-maker for Harbaugh and the Wolverines, but that remains to be seen.
Regardless of the situation, Harbaugh reaffirmed in an interview with ESPN College Football that the main goal for Michigan is to win a B1G Championship:
“That’s the cause,” said Harbaugh. “There’s no cause we support, foreign or domestic, other than winning the Big 10 Championship. That’s our goal this year.”

Harbaugh went on to call criticism over his performance in big games “fair” to this point. He also explained his idea of “seeing through a baggy” and revisited his time as QB with the Wolverines in his sit down with Marty Smith.
