Terry McLaurin and the Washington Commanders have been in a contract dispute during the off-season, and he has been going to practice, but not participating yet. However, things changed on Monday, as Adam Schefter reported that the team came to an agreement on a 3-year, $96 million deal.

McLaurin has been one of the most consistent receivers over the past few seasons, and a true professional during some trying times for the team.

Out of Ohio State, McLaurin was selected by Washington with the 76th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, and has been extremely productive in every season. His worst season in Washington was his rookie year, when he finished with 58 catches for 919 yards and seven touchdowns.

In the last four years, he has played in every game, gaining at least 1,002 yards.

The Commanders struggled through much of his career, but things got better last year with the arrival of Jayden Daniels. The offense became one of the most explosive in the country, and McLaurin had his best year yet with 82 catches, 1,096 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Getting McLaurin back means that the second-year quarterback has his top target back as the team looks to build off last year’s run to the NFC Championship game.
