Matt Millen is now better known as a Big Ten Network analyst.

But back in his collegiate days, he was known for being a standout linebacker and defensive lineman at Penn State. In the 1980 NFL Draft, he was selected in the second round by the Oakland Raiders.

Millen went on to make a Pro Bowl and win four Super Bowls.

On Saturday, when Penn State opened its 2018 campaign against Appalachian State at home, Millen served as an honorary captain for his alma mater.

Here’s a look:

It was pretty cool seeing Millen back on the field in Happy Valley, and rather funny seeing him holding a BTN microphone while being out there. It’s a moment we’re sure he won’t forget.
