Ohio State remained atop the latest AP Top 25 poll after Week 4’s college football action, as 7 teams from the Big Ten ended up making the field.

The Buckeyes, who were idle, remained ranked No. 1 for the 3rd straight week. They’ll look to climb to 5-0 as they welcome Minnesota to Ohio Stadium during Week 5.

Penn State, which also had the week off, dropped from No. 2 to No. 3. That’s ahead of a massive White Out game at Beaver Stadium against No. 6 Oregon in a rematch of the 2024 B1G Championship Game that the Ducks won 45-37. Meanwhile, the Ducks didn’t move from their ranking from the previous week after surging past Oregon State in Eugene.

The biggest drop of the week naturally belonged to Illinois, which entered Week 4 at No. 9 but plummeted to No. 23 after a 63-10 rout at Indiana. The Hoosiers, the poll’s biggest climber, jumped 8 spots to No. 11.

Elsewhere, Michigan rose into the top 20 after beating Nebraska. And USC jumped 2 spots to No. 23 after a win over Michigan State.
