Nick Singleton touchdown snaps impressive Ohio State streak

Nick Singleton just did something nobody has done all season. The Penn State running back found the end zone in the first 30 minutes against Ohio State.
Ohio State had not allowed a single first half touchdown this season entering Week 10, but that streak finally came to an end on Saturday. Singleton put the Nittany Lions on the board with a 3-yard touchdown off a pitch. Check it out below:
And what an answer that was by Penn State. The Nittany Lions simply have to lean on their run game if they want any chance of upsetting the Buckeyes, and that was exactly why. Singleton and fellow standout running back Kaytron Allen are already up to 77 yards rushing on the afternoon as we near the end of the first quarter.
That’s not all, though. The Nittany Lions weren’t quite done. A few minutes later, Penn State’s defense forced a massive turnover deep in Ohio State territory and cashed in, this time with Allen finding the end zone. Just like that, the Nittany Lions trail No. 1 Ohio State 14-17 entering halftime.
The last time Penn State beat a No. 1 team was back in 1990, when the Nittany Lions downed Notre Dame near the end of the season. How will Penn State respond in the second half?
