For the fourth time in 2025, Michigan online casinos set a new monthly revenue record.

This time, a record $278.5 million recorded in October pushed Michigan iGaming past all of 2024’s total revenue through just 10 months of 2025.

With this latest record, Michigan is now at $2.52 billion in online casino revenue for the year. In all of 2024, the state produced $2.44 billion.

October’s total was a new monthly record by over $15 million compared to August’s $263.3 million. It also was a 26.2% increase from October 2024’s $220.7 million, which was a record at the time, itself.

$3 Billion Yearly Revenue Within Reach

When Michigan hit $2.44 billion in yearly iGaming revenue in 2024, it felt like things couldn’t get too much bigger for the state.

That was incorrect.

With Michigan sitting at $2.52 billion through October, reaching $3 billion seems like a very real possibility. In fact, it seems more than likely.

Michigan would need to average roughly $250 million over November and December to reach that milestone number. The state has hit that in four consecutive months.

Trends have shown that the final months of each year have been the highest-grossing for online casinos as well. In 2024, Michigan finished with back-to-back record months in November ($226.0 million) and December ($244.0 million). The same can be said for 2023 and 2022.

It looks like it is not a matter of if, but when Michigan reaches $3 billion in online casino revenue.

News and Notes from October’s Michigan OC Revenue

October solidified that FanDuel Casino is now the leader in Michigan.

After battling with BetMGM Casino in recent years, FanDuel has created some distance. In October, FanDuel bested BetMGM by over $7 million, it’s greatest margin to date.

FanDuel has now won five consecutive months in the revenue battle and holds nearly a $17 million advantage in the yearly race with BetMGM.

Other notes from the latest revenue report:

  • Fanatics Casino surpassed Caesars for sixth place this month, with a narrow $15.9 million to $15.6 million edge. It’s a new peak for Fanatics, which has doubled its revenue throughout the year, starting with $7.8 million in January.
  • Two other casinos aside from Fanatics saw at least 50% growth year-over-year. Hollywood Casino improved by 76% with $9.3 million in October, while betPARX (Play Gun Lake) was up 55% at $4.7 million. Both operators have seen consistent growth throughout the year as they have improved on their respective mobile apps. Both are also seeing improvement in other states, with the latest betPARX Casino promo code helping provide the boost in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
  • Michigan online casinos generated $75.1 million in tax revenue for state and local entities in October. Collectively, iGaming has produced $670.5 million in tax revenue in 2025.
