Hackenberg is a former second round draft pick, going No. 51 overall in the 2016 NFL Draft. He was selected by the New York Jets.
But the former Penn State star has struggled to gain any traction in the professional ranks. In three years, he’s played with the Jets, Eagles, Oakland Raiders and now the Bengals.
