There were people arguing that Ohio State might be the best team in the country after a 77-31 win over Oregon State. Some thought the Buckeyes looked like a national title contender.
But one Associated Press poll voter thought less of Ohio State. Much, much less.
Jonny Miller of WBZ NewsRadio 1030 in Boston, Massachusetts doesn’t believe the Buckeyes belong in the top five, or even the top 10. He doesn’t even believe OSU belongs in the top 24 spots.
That’s right, Miller casted his vote with Ohio State ranked No. 25 in the Week 2 AP poll.

Having Ohio State outside the top five spots is understandable, but anything outside of the top 10 is a pretty big stretch, even for the most skeptical fan.
It’s possible that Miller wanted to punish Ohio State for all that has occurred with Zach Smith and Urban Meyer over the last month, but if that’s the case, why rank the Buckeyes at all? Regardless, putting OSU that low is puzzling.
Ohio State was actually ranked No. 4 in the latest AP poll, moving up one spot from the preseason rankings.
