Ohio State has earned a commitment from 5-star receiver Jett Harrison.

Harrison is the son of former NFL great Marvin Harrison and the younger brother of ex-Ohio State star Marvin Harrison Jr. He becomes the latest elite wide receiver prospect to commit to Ohio State.

He’s also regarded as one of the top overall players in the 2028 recruiting class and chose the Buckeyes over numerous other power-conference programs.

News of his commitment was first shared by Steve Wiltfong on Wednesday afternoon:

Harrison is the No. 4 overall player and the No. 2 wide receiver in the nation for the class of 2028, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 1 player from Pennsylvania.

Harrison attends St. Joseph’s Prep in Philadelphia. Jett Harrison is a bit smaller than his older brother Marvin, currently listed at 6-foot-1. However, it’s possible he will continue to grow as he’s just now preparing for his junior year of high school football.

Ohio State beat out the likes of Notre Dame and Oregon for Harrison’s commitment, among many other top programs. The Buckeyes first offered Harrison a scholarship back in March of 2025.

Harrison is the third 2028 recruit to commit to Ohio State so far.
