Oregon went into SEC country and showed 4 prominent programs that it just means more to play for the Ducks.

Tae Walden Jr. is the newest Oregon pledge. He committed to the Ducks over Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss and Auburn.

Walden announced his commitment live on YouTube.

Out of Collierville (Tennessee) High School, Walden is listed at 6-2, 175 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, he’s rated 4-stars, the No. 4 player in the state of Tennessee, No. 6 ATH and No. 70 prospect overall nationally.

Walden collected scholarship offers from 38 programs before making his commitment to play for Dan Lanning’s program.

The ATH label is used for multi-position prospects. Walden sees himself contributing on multiple sides of the ball at Oregon.

“Just, you know, being a guy who can do everything from offense, defense, special teams,” Walden told Rivals when asked about his role with the Ducks. “Just impacting the game any way I can.”
