Yes, Rutgers is a newer member of the Big Ten.
But, oddly enough, Ohio State and Rutgers have only met four times. Ever.
The series began in 2014 and has taken place every season since. In those four matchups, Rutgers has only scored 24 points combined.
This also means that the Scarlet Knights have only scored 3 TDs against the Buckeyes. Ever.
On Friday, SBNation ranked all 3 of these TDs that Rutgers has ever scored on Ohio State.
It’s quite funny.
- Rutgers’ 1st TD in 2014
- Rutgers’ only TD in 2015
- Rutgers’ 2nd and final TD in 2014
At the end of the post, Richard Johnson of SBNation writes, “We’ll update this post if Rutgers ever scores on Ohio State again.”
Hilarious stuff.
We’ll find out if the post has to be updated as kickoff time is set for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at Ohio Stadium. The game will be televised on BTN.
