It’s time to get hyped up for Iowa’s Week 2 game!
The Hawkeyes shook off a slow start in Week 1 to cruise to an easy win over NIU. Iowa will look for a quicker start Saturday as things will be a bit more heated.
QB Nate Stanley and the Hawkeyes are hosting Iowa State for an in-state rivalry matchup. Iowa has won three straight in the series but needed overtime to knock off the Cyclones 44-41 last season.
It is traditionally a hard-fought battle for the Cy-Hawk Trophy, and the Hawkeyes will look to lean on their home crowd in Saturday’s game. As the two teams get ready to square off, Hawkeyes Football released an awesome hype video for the contest that featured highlights from Week 1.
