This could be a big break for Ohio State’s defense.
Defensive end Chase Young was ejected from Saturday’s win over Rutgers after picking up two unsportsmanlike penalties. After the ejection, there were questions about whether or not he would be suspended for the first half of next Saturday’s game against TCU.
Well, as of Saturday evening, Dan Hope with 11 Warriors reported that Young will not receive a suspension for the first half of the game. This is likely a huge break for the Buckeyes as TCU will be their first big test of the season.
The Horned Frogs are currently ranked No. 16 in the nation and will present a big test for the Buckeyes. They will want to be at full strength for the matchup, and having Young available is big news.
An Ohio State spokesman confirms that Chase Young will not be suspended for the first half of next week’s game after being disqualified for receiving two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties today.
