The upset that everyone was predicting came to fruition. On Saturday night in the desert, Arizona State stunned No. 15 Michigan State with a 16-13 win in Tempe.
Many experts believed that, due to the heat, time change and MSU’s poor performance in Week 1 vs. Utah State, the Sun Devils had a great chance to knock off a ranked Spartans team. And they were right. Arizona State knocked home a game-winning field goal as time expired to improve to 2-0 on the year.
Michigan State fell to 1-1 after the loss.
