One man is dead and four others are injured after a shooting near Toomer’s Corner on the campus of Auburn University Saturday night.
The incident occurred after Auburn’s 63-9 win over Alabama State. The shooting left a 20-year-old man from Tuskegee dead.
Police do not police the shooting was a random act and it happened in a large crowd, according to WBRC.
According to Auburn police, officers originally responded to the scene to break up a large crowd.
First responders then found several victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
According to the reports, an altercation make have taken place before the shooting occurred.
The injured were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
