WATCH: In remembrance of 9/11, Nebraska posts tunnel walk video honoring heroes from 2001

Seventeen years ago, one of the most tragic and horrific events in American history occurred. September 11, 2001 is a date that no one will ever forget.
Each year, there’s an overwhelming amount of remembrance, support and gratitude that pours on social media, through written stories and in short videos.
On Tuesday morning, the official Twitter account of Nebraska football reposted the video of a special tunnel walk from 2001, in which the me and women of service were honored.
It’s an incredibly moving and emotional video even after 17 years have passed.
