CFB analyst calls Ohio State offense ‘dominant’, praises QB Dwayne Haskins

What’s better than beating one Power 5 school by 46 points to open the season?
How about beating another Power 5 school by 49 the week after?
Yeah, that will do. And that’s what No. 4 Ohio State has done to Oregon State and Rutgers, respectively, to start 2018.
The Buckeyes will have a chance to move to 3-0 when they play No. 15 TCU at 8 p.m. on Saturday at AT&T Stadium in Texas. That game will be televised on ABC.
Fans can certainly toot the Buckeyes’ horn to this point and that’s just a fanbase backing its team. But, when a college football analyst calls Ohio State’s offense as dominant as any offense he can remember, that’s something to note.

Rick Neuheisel didn’t just call Ohio State’s offense dominant — he also said that QB Dwayne Haskins will be a Heisman Trophy finalist. And if you look at any live odds on who will win the trophy at the end of the year, Haskins is right up there.
If Ohio State’s offense can finally have the firepower to match the talent it possesses year after year on defense, a national title isn’t out of the question. In 2014, that’s exactly what the Buckeyes did.
Against Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship, the team scored 59 points. In the national semifinal game against Alabama, the Buckeyes scored 42. And in the title game against Oregon, 42 more were scored.
Also, in the two games leading up to the matchup against Wisconsin, 42 points were hung on Indiana and another 42 were scored on Michigan. The offense matched the defense in terms of dominance.
The 2018 Buckeyes may be on their way to repeat that.
