The Iowa Hawkeyes have all the bragging rights within the state, especially after Iowa’s most recent win over arch-rival Iowa State.

It was a game that saw the Hawkeyes (2-0) allow the Cyclones only three points and 188 total yards. Sure, Iowa scored just 13 itself, but that was all Kirk Ferentz and the Hawks needed to extend their winning streak over ISU to four-straight seasons.

Yes, the Hawkeyes are dominating the annual Cy-Hawk game, but the 13-3 win pales in comparison to the internet hurting Iowa fans but on Iowa State after it was announced that the Cyclones had scheduled Incarnate Word for a make-up home game on December 1st.

For what it’s worth, even a former Cyclone criticized the game on Twitter. Well, he didn’t come out and say it, but former ISU wideout Allen Lazard, made his thoughts on the matchup clear.

Incarnate Word is located in San Antonio and has had a football program since 2009.
