Week 3 could be summed up as a disaster for most of the Big Ten.
Ohio State doesn’t fall into that category, though. And neither does Penn State.
The Buckeyes took care of business in the state of Texas against TCU and Penn State beat up on Kent State, as it should have. While many think quite highly of No. 4 Ohio State, Tim Brando thinks just as much — if not more — about No. 10 Penn State.
Hear what Brando thinks about the Nittany Lions and where QB Trace McSorley can take them:

The College Football Playoff may seem like a stretch, but Penn State does have a legitimate Heisman Trophy candidate leading the team. And at No. 10 in the country, with a game at home against Ohio State to come, the Nittany Lions have enough opportunities to rise in the ranks.
All they need to do is get in the top 4 in the College Football Playoff committee’s eyes.
