Michigan hosted SMU in Week 3 and the Wolverines came away with a comfortable win.
Jim Harbaugh’s team beat the Mustangs 45-20. Neither team scored in the opening quarter, but Michigan put up 21 points in the second quarter to get out to a two TD lead.
After the game, SMU head coach Sonny Dykes talked in particular about Michigan LB Devin Bush:
Sonny Dykes of #SMU on Devin Bush: “I think #10 is as good a linebacker as I’ve ever seen.” #Michigan

Well, that’s some high praise.
Dykes has surely seen plenty of linebackers, but if Bush is the best he has ever seen, that’s saying something. Surely the NFL will be looking Bush’s direction if that is indeed the case.
