Ohio State and Penn State took care of business in Week 3.

The Buckeyes went into Texas and exited with a 40-28 win over No. 17 TCU. It was impressive.

And Penn State beat down Kent State 63-10. Obviously the Nittany Lions are talented.

But, what about the rest of the Big Ten? Wisconsin losing as three-TD favorites to BYU was ugly.

So was Rutgers losing to Kansas by 41. Maryland shouldn’t have lost to Temple, Nebraska shouldn’t have lost to Troy and Northwestern gave up 39 points and lost to Akron. There was a lot of ugly.

FOX Sports’ Joel Klatt had a few takeaways from Week 3. One of them is regarding the Big Ten. It wasn’t pretty, either:

“B1G are you serious…I feel dirty for thinking that was the strongest conference this year.”

Yes, Week 3 was ugly and certain teams haven’t looked as good as anticipated this season. But, we are 3 weeks in. There is a lot of football to be played.
