In the world of college football, there are numerous odd, yet intriguing statistics.
Some deal with passing records, winning streaks, dome vs. outdoor implications and obviously much more.
This odd, yet interesting stat deals with a team’s overall record. Michigan, on Saturday, is scheduled to face Nebraska.
That in and of itself is cool. It’s a Big Ten game. Scott Frost vs. Jim Harbaugh. Sign us up.
But what’s more interesting about it from a historical perspective is this: If Michigan beats Nebraska, the Wolverines will have a winning record vs. every other Big Ten school in the history of college football.
That’s quite impressive when you think about it. There is no school out there in the conference that has a winning record against the Wolverines.
Although, if Nebraska gets the upset and victory, the Huskers would own a 5-4-1 record over the maize and blue. Let’s wait until after the game is played to revisit this one.
