Kirk Herbstreit names top performances from Week 3

Ohio State impressed a lot of people across the college football landscape with its 40-28 win over TCU on Saturday night. One of those individuals was Kirk Herbstreit.

Monday, Herbstreit released his top performances from Week 3, a list of players and team who were most impressive from that week in college football. The Buckeyes and quarterback Dwayne Haskins made the list.

Herbstreit had Ohio State with the third-best performances from Saturday, behind LSU (def. Auburn) and BYU (def. Wisconsin).

After completing 24-of-38 passes for 344 yards and a two touchdowns, Haskins was at the top of Herbie’s list for individual performances in Week 3.

Two of the teams on Herbstreit’s list defeated B1G teams this weekend. BYU knocked off Wisconsin in Madison and Troy defeated Nebraska in Lincoln.

Missouri quarterback Drew Lock had a huge day against Purdue.
