If there’s one thing Minnesota fans might hate about P.J. Fleck’s “Row the Boat” slogan, it’s that it’s incredibly easy to mock. ESPN personality Scott Van Pelt is the latest to prove that.

Van Pelt, a Maryland alum, was taking in Saturday’s B1G matchup between the Terrapins and the Golden Gophers. It was a blowout victory for Maryland, winning by a 42-13 decision.

After the game, Van Pelt sent out a simple image to celebrate the big win and poke fun at Fleck and the Gophers.

Yes, that’s two turtles rowing a boat. Very fitting.

With the win, Maryland improves to 3-1 on the year and is 1-0 to start B1G play. The Gophers dropped to 3-1 and are 0-1 in conference action.

Van Pelt’s simple image was a pretty good jab at Minnesota. And it seemed to get quite the positive response from fellow Terrapins on Twitter.
