Indiana is dealing with injuries following a loss to Michigan State, and the Hoosiers may be without a few players when they take on Rutgers Saturday.

The Hoosiers had an opportunity to improve to 4-0 when taking on Michigan State. However, the Spartans proved to be too much in the 35-21 loss. Indiana battled back valiantly but fell short on the road.

As the team moves on to prepare for a conference matchup with Rutgers, two players continue to battle injuries that may keep them out for the contest. Head coach Tom Allen addressed the injuries to WR Luke Timian and LB Cam Jones, and Allen labeled both players as game-time decisions for Saturday.

ASAP Sports shared the transcript of Allen’s comments from Monday’s press conference:

“In regards to Luke, that will be a game-time decision,” said Allen. “I don’t know yet the status. He’s obviously improving…(Jones) had to come out of the game. Once again, he’s on our list of game-time decisions. We won’t know until later in the week. Definitely do not know right now if he’ll be available.”

Hopefully the Hoosiers will get both players back sooner rather than later.
