WATCH: D.J. Knox goes airborne, flies over defender to set up Purdue touchdown

This may be one of the best runs you’ll see this season.

The run went for just a little more than 10 yards, but how those yards were covered is what makes the run impressive. Purdue’s D.J. Knox carried the ball around the right side and toward the sideline. As a Nebraska defender barreled down on him, Knox prepared to deal with the hit.

Actually, Knox decided to forego the hit entirely and went up and over the defender for the first down. He nearly flew into the end zone for the score, but his foot came down on the sideline just short of the goal line.

The Big Ten Network shared the video of the run, and it definitely looks like Knox can fly in the play:


Purdue would finish the drive off with a touchdown.
