That moment that everyone holds their breath for every week has finally arrived. OK, maybe that’s a bit of a stretch, but who doesn’t love getting the Kirk Herbstreit stamp of approval?

Monday evening, the ESPN college football analyst named his top performers for Week 6. His weekly list is comprised of five outstanding teams and five sensational individuals from the college football weekend.

This week, one B1G team and one player made the list. Here were Herbies top team performances from Week 6:

  1. Texas (def. Oklahoma)
  2. Florida (def. LSU)
  3. Northwestern (def. Michigan State)
  4. Mississippi State (def. Auburn)
  5. Notre Dame (def. Virginia Tech)/ San Diego State (def. Boise State)

And here were his top individual performers:

  1. Sam Ehlinger, Texas
  2. Dwayne Haskins, Ohio State
  3. Vosean Joseph, Florida
  4. Laviska Shenault, Colorado
  5. Brock Purdy, Iowa State/ Nick Fitzgerald (Mississippi State)

Northwestern pulled off a 29-19 upset over then-No. 20 Michigan State to improve to 2-3 on the year. It was the third straight victory for the Wildcats over the Spartans.

And Haskins was spectacular in Ohio State’s 49-26 win over Indiana. The Buckeyes quarterback threw for over 400 yards and six touchdowns in the win.
