FOX Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt tends to be a little higher on the B1G than most. Despite a bit of a sluggish start from the conference as a whole, he still believes there are plenty of quality teams at the top.
Klatt released his top 10 on Tuesday night, basing it on the performance through the first six weeks of the season. He’s got three B1G teams on his list.
Alabama is ranked No. 1 by Klatt (obviously), but Ohio State is right behind in the No. 2 spot. In the Associate Press and USA Today coaches poll, the Buckeyes come in at No. 3. He also has Penn State at No. 7 and Michigan at No. 9.
Below is Klatt’s full top 10 list:

Penn State and Michigan will both have opportunities to prove Klatt right this week. The Nittany Lions will host Michigan State while the Wolverines take on No. 15 Wisconsin on Saturday night.
Ohio State plays Minnesota.
If all three teams win, Klatt may be on to something. If not, we’ll see some major reshuffling in his rankings next week.
