Northwestern will look to keep things rolling following an upset of Michigan State, but early conditions at Ryan Field may be an ominous sign when taking on Nebraska.

The Cornhuskers enter Saturday’s game desperate for a win after starting the season 0-5. It is undoubtedly one of the worst starts in school history for Nebraska, but Northwestern’s home stadium had eerie conditions early Saturday morning.

Ryan Field experienced a heavy frost after cool temperatures Friday evening, and one has to wonder if it is a potential foreshadowing of Scott Frost’s first win with the Cornhuskers.

Nebraska Football shared a photo of the pretty scene:

Northwestern will be favored in the game. However, a tough fight is likely in store as Nebraska is eager to get into the win column.

Surely this is nothing to worry about for the Wildcats…right?
