Nebraska was so, so close. With a 10 point lead with less than six minutes remaining in the game, the Huskers appeared to be on their way to posting an upset win over Northwestern on Saturday afternoon.

Instead, the defense surrendered two scoring drives to the Wildcats, the offense stumbled in overtime and Northwestern kicker Drew Luckenbaugh kicked a game-winning field goal in overtime.

For Scott Frost and Nebraska, it was the most heartbreaking loss yet.

But the Huskers have another very winnable game coming up this week, as they take on Minnesota at Memorial Stadium Saturday. And after coming so close to victory, Nebraska will be starving for a win this weekend.
