Anyone who watched the hit Netflix documentary series Last Chance U knows that Independence Community College head coach Jason Brown has a short fuse. And now, that hot head has earned him a suspension.

Per Omaha.com, Brown was ejected from Independence’s game against Iowa Western after jawing with the officials for most of the afternoon. At the 10:27 mark in the game, the head coach was tossed for having a heated argument with a referee after a punt return.

Brown believed the opposing player called for a fair catch before ripping off a 32-yard return.

Independence lost the game 44-21.

Video of Brown exiting the field was captured and Netflix cameras also followed the coach. He tweeted out an apology for his actions on Tuesday morning.

Brown has been suspended for this weekend’s game.

Many viewers who watched Season 3 of Last Chance U believed that Brown’s coaching style was too aggressive and a bit vulgar. But his approach earned Independence a 9-2 record and a bowl game appearance.

This year, however, ICC is just 1-5 in 2018.

We don’t know much about what was said while Brown was laying into the officiating crew, but we’ll find out next summer. Season 4 should be extremely entertaining.
