Yeah, Michigan is going to enjoy this win for quite some time.

The Wolverines rolled into Spartan Stadium Saturday and produced one of the best defensive performances of the season. Michigan limited the Spartans to just 94 total yards of offense, including 15 yards rushing, in the 21-7 victory.

It is an especially sweet win, made even sweeter following a pregame scuffle that Jim Harbaugh labeled as “bush league” in his press conference. Needless to say, the Wolverines are not taking this win quietly, and their Director of Recruiting even took a shot at MSU after the game.

Matt Dudek tweeted out that the Spartans’ pregame stadium walk, which led to the scuffle, was actually longer than the total yards gained by MSU:

This rivalry is definitely alive and well. At least for this year, Michigan will enjoy being on top in the state.
