Talented 2019 DB prospect decommits from Rutgers

A dreadful season for Rutgers got a little bit darker on Monday.

Things have not gone well for the Scarlet Knights this season. After hanging tough against Northwestern, the Wildcats squeaked out a 18-15 win and sent Rutgers to its seventh straight loss. Now at 1-7, it is fair to wonder if the Knights will win again this season.

While the product on the field continues to struggle, 2019 recruit Connor Grieco announced his decision to decommit from Rutgers and re-open his recruitment. Grieco is listed as a 3-star S and the No. 30 player from the state of New Jersey for 2019 on the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Listed at 6-foot-3, Grieco has impressive length for the safety position.
