There’s one more college football weekend in the month of October. One.

After that, we’ll enter the final month of the season. It seems like kickoff was just a few weeks ago, and now, the year is in the home stretch.

Now that we’ve entered the most important month of the season, ESPN has updated the most difficult remaining schedules of the college football season. At the top of the list is one B1G team.

Rutgers will endure the toughest month of the season, not great news for a team with a 1-7 record and yet to win a conference game. The Scarlet Knights face No. 20 Wisconsin, No. 5 Michigan, No. 17 Penn State and Michigan State in the final four games of the season.

Yikes.

It doesn’t look like Rutgers is going to get a B1G win this season, unless something absolutely insane happens in November. Maybe next year, Chris Ash.

While we’re at it, let’s take a look at the top 10 most difficult schedules remaining in the college football season:

  1. Rutgers
  2. Florida State
  3. Oklahoma State
  4. Boston College
  5. Oregon State
  6. Baylor
  7. Cal
  8. UCLA
  9. Arkansas
  10. Texas Tech

Rutgers is the only B1G team in the top 10. There were a few B1G teams in the top 25 spots, however. Purdue had the 12th hardest schedule while Ohio State’s was No. 17. Indiana’s ranked 19th and Maryland was 25th.
